It is the 4D international standard airport.

Yantai Laishan International Airport (simplified Chinese: 烟台莱山国际机场; traditional Chinese: 煙台萊山國際機場) (IATA: YNT, ICAO: ZSYT) is a dual-use military and civilian airport serving the city of Yantai in Shandong Province, China.The airport is about 15 kilometers (9.3 mi) from Yantai and began operations in October 1984. Covering over 45.79 acres (185,300 m), the airport now has opened around 20 domestic air routes, with international routes available to Seoul, Osaka, and Hong Kong.The new Yantai Chaoshui International Airport is now under construction near the town of Chaoshui in Penglai City, and is expected to open in 2014. When completed it will replace Laishan as Yantai's main airport.

Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport (simplified Chinese: 济南遥墙国际机场; traditional Chinese: 濟南遙牆國際機場) (IATA: TNA, ICAO: ZSJN) is the airport serving Jinan, the capital city of Shandong Province, China. The airport is located approximately 33 kilometres (21 mi) northeast of the city center and immediately to the north of the town of Yaoqiang (遥墙镇) after which the airport is named. By road, the airport is connected to the Jiqing (Jinan – Qingdao) and Jingfu (Beijing – Fuzhou) expressways.As for 2010, Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport was the 24th busiest airport in China with 6,898,936 passengers.

Qingdao Liuting International Airport (IATA: TAO, ICAO: ZSQD) (Chinese: 青岛流亭国际机场) is the main airport serving the city of Qingdao, in Shandong Province, China. It is about 31 km from the city center. Qingdao is a focus city for China Eastern Airlines and Shandong Airlines.From 2004 to 2006, the airport underwent an expansion of its terminal as well as adding more parking spaces which was part of its initial 2010 goal to expand Liuting Airport to handle 5.2 million passengers annually or 2400 passengers and almost 120,000 tons of cargo hourly. The runway was also extended to its current length.As for 2011, Qingdao Liuting International Airport was the 16th busiest airport in the People's Republic of China with 11,716,361 passengers.
